The Villages is officially a 55+ Community, but they allow up to 20% Ownership of people under 55.

There is no Age rules as to renting in The Villages, any limits are up to the indvidual HomeOwner who rents their property.
There are no rules as to children in a Rental. In a Residents hoem there are some length of stay rules that you can address with your Realtor (hopefully me).
Yes, during the Summer and some Holidays there are day Camps for children. There are 80+ Community Pools so lots af places to swim. There are also 80+ Recreation Centers that have Tennis, Pickleball Courts,
Bocci Courts, Shuffleboard and a number of other activities. The Villages are about an Hour from DisneyWorld, Legoland, SeaWorld, Universal, Tampa's Busch gardens, Tampa Zoo and many other places to have fun for all ages.
At last count there wer 13 Championship Courses (18 hole courses) and 36 Executive Courses with all beinfg accesible to Residents, Tenants and Guests.
Currently there are 80+ Pools in The Villages available for swimming year round. Many have Water Aerobics classes as well as other scheduled activities.
There are 80+ recreation centers with many having Exercise equipment availble for use. There are also a few Faclities in The Village Town Squares and a numbe of companies just outside The Villages that provide an place to workout.
it is up to the Individual owners as to allowing pets in their homes. The majority of homes on my Service do allow pets on a Case-by-Case basis.
A Tenant can obtain a temporary Resident Pass from the Villages. they charge $50 to cover 2 people and it gives the Tenant the same privileges as an Owner, with access to all Pools and Rec. Centers as well as discounts on the 18 Hole Championship Courses and free play on the Executive Courses.
All the properties are Fully set-up to enjoy your stay. They come with Cable/Dish, WiFi and most have use of the Golf cart. All Linens, Towels and Bedding are supplied and the Kitchens are fully set-up
for use.
New Smyrna and Daytona are about 1.5 Hours on the Ocean side. Honeymoon Island and Tampa beaches are also about 1.5 hours on the Gulf side.
The Orlando attractions (DisneyWorld, Universal, SeaWorld, Legoland, etc.) are a little over an hour. Tampa has Busch gardens and the terrific Tamps Zoo.
